Stationery Loves – Inserts

I feel like somewhere along the line my opening line is stuck in repeat, but, hopefully, after this first month the introductions to new segments of my blog will stop (or at the very least, slow down to a minute trickle…), anyway…

So, Stationery Loves is a new segment of my freshly resurrected blog.  This series of posts will share links to places you can buy some of my “Stationery Loves”.  This months post looks at places where you can get inserts for your organizer from.

First up are the stores that you can buy ready printed, punched inserts that most people use without too many problems…

Filofax sell a vast range of different sized inserts, from diaries, note paper, financial, to do, among others.  It is interesting to see the range that Filofax offer expanding and becoming more up to date within the planner trends realm – they now offer a select range of diaries that have printed patterns on them alongside the classic White, Cotton Cream and Pink (you can find these in the diary section).  The only annoyance I have with the Illustrated is that they only appear to be for A5 binders at the moment.

Paperchase offer Filofax inserts (not the full range) alongside their own planner inserts.  Paperchase offer a different selection of inserts that are a bit more modern in their function, inserts like Meal Plans, meeting lists and shopping lists.  There are also a few cute printed inserts available including printed note paper.  Again, Paperchase offers a range of different sizes and a few different layout options for the diaries (currently there is a day to a page Filofax brand available and Paperchase’s own brand week on two pages.)

WHSmith offer similar to Paperchase, they stock Filofax branded inserts alongside their own.  There seems to be a greater selection of inserts available, especially diary inserts in different formats but they do not seem to offer any other color than white and pink.

Another one to check out for inserts is Dodo Pad.  These inserts are a diary, come note book or whatever you decide it to be.  Take a look and see what you think.

You can get other inserts, available to download and print yourself (printables) from many different sources.  Philofaxy offer a great range of free printables (I used these for November and December in my A5) and if you are clever enough, you can customize them yourself.  This is a great resource, if like me, you have an idea to switch your layout but dont want the commitment of buying a years worth of inserts only to find a week later you don’t like the inserts, you can download a month’s worth and give it a go before printing the year.

Etsy also has great resources for finding inserts for your planner.  I could spend a month linking you to awesome inserts but I’m not going to do that as there are too may awesome designers out there creating pages that by listing a few, I’m missing off others.  Instead, I suggest you just head over to Etsy and have a search for inserts and see what you come up with yourself!  🙂  And, when you find someone who sells awesome inserts, why not head back here and leave a link and maybe, a review, in the comments!

So, what inserts do you love and why?

The next episode of “Stationery Loves will be published here on 8/2/17!

***I have not been paid to mention any of these stores or shops, I chose to write this blog of my own free will and to share with you some places of interest that stock inserts.***
